Springer Turkey Challenge Feeds Over 25,000!

I can’t believe my little Turkey Challenge turned 20 years old this year, and I am thrilled with it’s success. For the 20th anniversary of my annual fundraiser this year we will provide holiday meals to more than 25,000 people in need this holiday season.

This year we raised $5,070 from clients and friends. I match all donations, adding $10,000 personally, to give us a grand total of $15,070 – a record! Thank you.

I really look forward to helping feed families and create holiday memories every year. The Springer Turkey Challenge is my way of thanking our community. It’s really the one check I enjoy writing. I also want to give a huge thank you to my clients, with their generous donations we have fed thousands of Sacramento families since 1999. I couldn’t do it without you.

All donations go to local charities to provide not just a turkey, but entire meals to struggling families. The proceeds from the 2019 challenge are distributed to: Sacramento Loaves and FishesSacramento Food Bank and Family Services, Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center, Make-A-Wish Foundation.
