Keith Springer is the author of “Surfing the Retirement Tsunami -Your guide to staying afloat and retiring comfortably” and “Facing Goliath: How to Triumph in the Dangerous Market Ahead“, radio host of “Smart Money with Keith Springer” on NewsRadio 1530 KFBK. Keith can be seen on CNBC, FOX Business, the Wall Street Journal, Fortune, CNN Money and other news outlets. Keith Springer is also President and Founder of Springer Financial Advisors in Sacramento, CA, an SEC Registered Investment Advisory Firm specializing in investment and retirement planning and has been providing professional wealth management advice for over 30 years.
Keith graduated from Clark University in Worcester Massachusetts with additional studies at Kings College, University of London, England. His career began in 1985 with Merrill Lynch in his hometown of Boston where he completed his financial consultant training in 1987. In 1990, he moved to California to study advanced portfolio management and investment management studies. By 1996, he felt his clients’ interests would be best served by becoming independent, so he formed Springer Financial Advisors where he continues to serve as president today.
Keith is a member of the Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA), delivering free seminars and workshops for companies, civic organizations, and church groups. He is a Registered Financial Planner with the Registered Financial Planners Institute and a master certified member of the prestigious HS Dent Advisors Network. He is also a member of the director’s circle for the Crocker Art Museum, the conductor’s circle for the Sacramento Philharmonic, a member of Rotary International and a Paul Harris Fellow for over 20 years and founder of the Springer Turkey Challenge, helping to feed those most in need in the community since 1998.
